Sgt. Joe Friday (the always-laconic Jack Webb, who also directs) hits the streets in the most popular detective TV series of the 1950s. Although now viewed largely as a camp classic, "Dragnet" was hugely influential in the genre of cop television shows and was the forerunner of the spin-off "Adam-12." The vintage episodes included are "The Big Phone Call," "The Big Cast," "The Big False Make" and "The Big Frank."
