No-nonsense Sgt. Joe Friday (Jack Webb) keeps Los Angeles crime-free in this four-episode collection from the early-1950s version of "Dragnet." Friday and his partner, Officer Frank Smith (Ben Alexander), search for two missing boys in "The Big .22 Rifle" and for a barroom bandit in "Big Bar." The straight-shooting sergeant uses decoys to catch a robber in "Big Pair," and he hunts down a suspected two-time murderer in "Big September Man."
