This light-hearted and action-filled retelling of the Chinese classic Journey to the West focuses on young monkey boy Son Goku and his journeys, like spending the night in the desert and searching for his Grandfather's Four-Star Dragon Ball. Season 1 includes Goku, Bulma and Oolong meeting Monster Carrot, who rules the town with an iron fist. Goku battles Nam while Yamcha enters the ring with Jackie Chun.
