This intoxicating tale of intrigue set during the Ming dynasty chronicles the quest of power-hungry eunuch Tsao Siu Yan (Donnie Yen) to realize his ambition of ruling China -- and he'll stop at nothing to attain his goal. Intent on crushing all who would rise up against him, he uses children to lure a rebel leader (Tony Leung Ka Fai) out of hiding. When his lover (Brigitte Lin) saves them instead, the stage is set for a showdown at the Dragon Inn.
