Hotheaded, vicious criminal White Tiger (Yuen Shun-yee) takes it on the lam and turns psychotic killer after his wife dies in a battle with the police. He finds sanctuary with a Chinese opera troupe in the hometown of Mousy (Yuen Biao), a timorous laundry boy who inadvertently rubs White Tiger the wrong way -- and soon becomes the target of his blood lust. Yuen Woo-ping directed this inspired kung-fu thriller.
