A talented and very attractive teenage gymnast (Olivia d'Abo) sets her sights on winning the big championship despite having to contend with considerable hurdles: an abusive stepfather, a sickly mother and ever-present injuries. Keanu Reeves plays her supportive boyfriend. The cast also includes Rita Tushingham, Nichole Koleman and Sean McCann. Directed (with all the appropriate hooks for the MTV teen market) by Paul Lynch.
