Exploring the rich history and fascinating mythology of the Native American people, this miniseries follows a brash young Native American (Eddie Spears) gang member who goes on a pilgrimage to New Mexico with his grandfather. Reluctant to go, and embracing life in the present rather than the past, the boy soon finds himself regaled with a succession of his grandfather's wondrous stories, each with a unique parallel to the present.
