The Spanish galleon Nuestra Señora de Atocha foundered off Key West in 1622, taking with it a plethora of riches. More than 300 years later, single-minded Mel Fisher (Cliff Robertson) and his wife, Deo (Loretta Swit) -- persevering through economic troubles and precedent-setting lawsuits -- follow the path of the doomed vessel in a undersea quest for the missing treasure. This made-for-TV movie is based on a true story.
