When she discovers an unconscious man (James Spader) abandoned on a lonely stretch of beach, the desperately single Sarah (Anne Brochet) takes him into her care and nurses him back to health. But shortly after he comes to, Sarah realizes that he has no memories of his identity or his former life -- and that by telling him he's landed on a deserted island with no way out, she could keep him as her companion forever.
