During the Ming dynasty, a duel between Chinese and Japanese martial artists took place every 10 years. The next contest pits kung-fu swordsman Ching Wan (Damian Lau) against samurai warrior Hashimoto (Norman Chu), but the opponents learn that the competition is rigged. A plot to abduct the contest's best fighters is afoot, and it falls to Ching and Hashimoto to trust each other and to set things right.
