One evening in Sweden, odd Dunderklumpen appears from the woods looking for company in this animated children's tale. Finding toys belonging to Camilla and her brother, Jens, he brings them to life and steals them. Now Jens is on his trail, trying to recover fearful lion Lionel, little harmonica-playing bear Pellegnillot, bunny Dummy and the difficult Doll. Meanwhile, both Jens's father and Dunderklumpen's nemesis also hunt for Dunderklumpen.
