Complex cases and even more complex personalities are the norm in the urban Chicago emergency room that serves as the heart of this long-running medical drama. In the 12th season, ER staffers Michael Gallant (Sharif Atkins) and Dr. Rasgotra (Parminder Nagra) decide to tie the knot. Also, an infant chimpanzee comes into the ER for treatment; Dr. Kovac (Goran Visnjic) becomes chief of emergency medicine; and more.
