To locate healthy environs for her desperately ill son and the rest of humanity, Devon Adair (Debrah Farentino) ignores a government edict and assembles an expedition to set up an outpost on planet G889, 22 light-years away. But the space travelers' sabotaged ship lurches off course and crash-lands far from the target site. As the colonists traverse G889, they face not only perilous terrain but hostile natives in this intriguing sci-fi series.
