Laurie Metcalf ("Roseanne") stars as morally repugnant yet likable Bobette Buffkin, the matriarch of a family of high-interest loan sharks that includes eldest son Cooper (Jay R. Ferguson), middle son Morgan (Jeff Hephner) and little sister Brandy (Katie Lowes). Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider, who formerly tackled the underworld family dynamic as writers for "The Sopranos," scripted this one-season dramedy series, which also stars Nick Searcy.
