This double feature collects two early movies of Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster. In Echoes of a Summer, Foster stars as Deirdre, a dying 11-year-old girl who strikes up a friendship with a local boy when her parents take her to a quiet town to spend her last days in comfort. Mesmerized stars John Lithgow as an abusive husband in 19th-century New Zealand who drives his teenage bride (Foster) to plot revenge and murder.
