Riccardo Scamarcio stars as Elias, a migrant worker trying to get from Greece to the city of dreams: Paris. But his journey turns out to be an obstacle course in this epic drama from acclaimed director Costa-Gavras. Along the way, Elias meets countless other illegal immigrants seeking shelter and a chance to make an honest living in the European Union. Eden Is West premiered at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival.
