Travel agency worker Sarika (Urmila Matondkar) is swept off her feet by a debonair bachelor (Saif Ali Khan) who won't take no for an answer, and after a whirlwind romance, the two marry. But the honeymoon is cut short when an unforeseen incident lands Sarika in jail for murder. While serving her sentence, Sarika vows revenge on the person responsible for her incarceration, but first, she must confront the truth about her new husband.
