Director Gonzalo Justiniano's unblinking drama paints a bleak portrait of urban despair in Santiago, Chile. Surrounded by poverty, disaffected teenager Niki (Hector Mauricio Vega) sees little hope for the future -- or purpose to his life. With no legitimate prospects, Niki and his aimless comrades drift through a life marked by endless partying and petty theft ... until he meets a beautiful girl with a profitable, if dangerously illegal, plan.
