Desperately searching for a job, Kamal eventually finds work as an apprentice to a building contractor who teaches him the ropes in this absorbing Bollywood drama from director G.N. Rangarajan. But the seemingly perfect arrangement sours when the contractor is charged with stealing a load of black-market gold -- and promptly blames the crime on Kamal. Can his younger brother help Kamal out of this jam?
