While preparing for his pet goldfish Dorothy's upcoming birthday party, Elmo shows his friend, Abby, how Sesame Street residents celebrate birthdays, from fun games to gift giving and everything in between. To return the favor, Abby takes Elmo on a magical journey to Fairytale Land, where they attend a birthday celebration for Little Red Riding Hood. But when Abby forgets how to get them to Sesame Street, Elmo fears he'll miss Dorothy's party.
