Two related tales explore themes of celebrity obsession, father-son relationships and the immigrant experience in this debut feature from Nigerian-born British filmmaker Kevin Aduaka. In "The Suit," the head of an Afro-Caribbean family browbeats his son Elvis into impersonating his namesake, in spite of Elvis's penchant for Jimi Hendrix. Then, in "The Messiah," another Hendrix fan pretends to be the long-lost son of a dying man.
