Corruption and assassination throw the Roman Republic into chaos, and it's up to the city's fiercest gladiator, Tyrannus (Jonathan Cake), and Julius Caesar's successor, Octavius (Santiago Cabrera), to restore the empire to its glory in ABC's epic miniseries. Hunted by assassins, Octavius and his sworn protector Tyrannus flee Rome along with two loyal followers, a ragtag group determined to see Octavius fulfill his destiny as emperor of Rome.
