The bumbling misadventures of Ernest P. Worrell (Jim Varney) go global when Ernest inadvertently steals a pair of precious African diamonds and fastens them to a yo-yo to make a gift for a waitress (Linda Kash) he has a crush on. Little does he know that his actions have stoked the ire of an African prince (Robert Whitehead) who's now plotting to kidnap Ernest's sweetheart and drag her back with him across the Atlantic.
