This anime adventure takes place in the mythical realm of Gaea, where sword, sorcery, blood and violence settle disputes. Thrust into a conflict she doesn't quite understand, Hitomi (voiced by Maaya Sakamoto) comes to the aid of a young warrior king named Van (Tomokazu Seki). Soon, they embark together on a journey of discovery that leads to an epic battle over a legendary suit of dragon armor known as Escaflowne.
