Just when Benjamín Solero (Alexis Ayala), a police officer on the brink of retirement, thinks he's put a powerful drug lord in the slammer, the mob snatches the daughter of the judge assigned to the trial. Complicating matters is Solero's unexpected romance with a beautiful woman involved in the abduction -- and their passionate affair threatens to interfere with his mission to rescue the kidnapped girl and keep the drug kingpin behind bars.
