George Hamilton stars as the legendary motorcycle-riding daredevil Evel Knievel in this dramatized biography that incorporates actual footage of some of Knievel's most punishing stunts, such as his jump over the fountain at Caesar's Palace. Directed by Marvin J. Chomsky, the film also delves into Knievel's childhood and early adulthood to find some explanation for the rider's relentless drive to push the boundaries of safety --and sanity.
