On a bus crossing the stark deserts of Lebanon, on the nation's Independence Day, three women whose husbands have all been arrested meet while going to visit them in prison -- a journey that soon becomes complicated and dangerous. Dima El-Horr's feature-length debut uses symbols of Lebanon's chaotic past to frame a somber look at current social tensions in a country brutalized by decades of unrest in the Mideast.
