Every Time We Say Goodbye

After his plane is shot down, David Bradley (Tom Hanks), an American flyboy serving in the Royal Air Force during World War II, recovers from his injuries in Jerusalem, where he meets Sarah Perrara (Cristina Marsillach), a beautiful Sephardic Jew. Despite their cultural differences and better judgment, the two fall in love, but Sarah's devoutly religious family objects to David's Protestant background and staunchly opposes the union.
