Expresso Bongo

Slick talent agent Johnny Jackson (Laurence Harvey) sets his sights on Bert Rudge (Cliff Richard), a skilled singer and bongo player he discovers in a seedy coffeehouse. Changing Rudge's name to "Bongo Herbert," Jackson exploits his new client every way he can. Meanwhile, fading star Dixie Collins (Yolande Donlan) plans to use Rudge's fame to stage a comeback. Sylvia Syms co-stars in this acidic satire of the pre-Beatles British music industry.
