German meteorologist Jan (Matthias Koeberlin) returns to Berlin after studying tornadoes in the U.S. and must confront both his uneasy relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Eva (Mina Tander), and bizarre weather phenomena in this blazing special-effects epic. When gigantic hailstones and a weird cold front assault the area, Jan tries to warn officials that a major twister is coming, but no one listens. Will he be able to save his family and Eva?
