Directed by Stephen Frears, this televised play broadcast live on CBS is a remake of director Sidney Lumet's 1964 Cold War nail-biter, which follows U.S. officials in a race to stop nuclear war from breaking out after a technical malfunction. The all-star cast includes Richard Dreyfuss, Don Cheadle, Harvey Keitel, Noah Wyle, Sam Elliott and executive producer George Clooney, who plays the commander who mistakenly sent to bomb Russia.
