Dance instructor Lydia Grant (Debbie Allen) molds young hopefuls into skilled performers at New York City's High School for the Performing Arts in this hit TV series. Bruno (Lee Curreri), Coco (Erica Gimpel) and the other students dream of making it big but must pay their dues before heading for the bright lights of showbiz. The premiere season finds the kids facing competition, rejection and grueling rehearsals, along with some serious issues.
