Former peace activists Steven and Elyse Keaton (Michael Gross and Meredith Baxter) cope with Reagan-era suburbia in the third season of the hit 1980s sitcom. This year, Elyse's pregnancy comes as a shock to the Keaton kids: Republican Alex (Michael J. Fox), shopaholic Mallory (Justine Bateman) and tomboy Jennifer (Tina Yothers). A two-part episode welcomes baby Andrew as Elyse goes into labor on live television. Geena Davis guest stars.
