One of director Atom Egoyan's first films, Family Viewing is a stunning example of how Egoyan dealt with his main obsessions -- sex, dysfunctional families and video -- as a young director. The story follows a man who begins an affair with his stepmother, a decision he questions when he discovers a pornographic home video of her having sex with his father.
