After his apartment is robbed, drug-pushing urban cowboy Rick (Jake Busey) blows his L.A. digs and hits the road in search of a famous porn star (Jennifer Tilly) with whom he's obsessed. Along the way, he hooks up with a colorful assortment of characters, most notably a neurotic virgin named Jules (played by the reliably weird Crispin Glover). Adam Goldberg co-stars as the best friend who carries a torch for Rick's girl (Natasha Lyonne).
