Race car driver Richard Beckett (Keith Carradine) was happy to leave the track behind for a career in medicine, but when his old nemesis, Christian Chandler (Duncan Regehr), tempts him back into the game with a gig as chief medic of Eagle Ridge Speedway, Beckett can't say no. Also heating up the pit in this high-octane series are Chandler's sister (Brandy Ledford) and his wife, Nicole (Guylaine St-Onge), who happens to be Beckett's old flame.
