John Michael Murphy (Merlin Olson) and his wife, Mae (Katherine Cannon), start life anew as a married couple in this second and final season of the hour-long dramatic series set in Gold Hill, a town on the brink of change in the American Wild West. All around them, in fact, change is in the offing, as the pair anxiously await the arrival of their first child and watch their neighbor grapple with theft, a suicide attempt and other challenges.
