This BAFTA-winning comedy stars Dermot Morgan as the titular Father Ted, one of three Catholic priests who are exiled to a parish on a remote Irish island after various misdeeds brought them under the scrutiny of the bishop (Jim Norton). There, Father Ted and his cohorts -- Father Dougal (Ardal O'Hanlon) and Father Jack (Frank Kelly) -- are tended to by neurotic housekeeper Mrs. Doyle (Pauline McLynn).
