A serial killer is targeting strippers in Manhattan, which is harming Matt's (Tom Berenger) exotic dancer booking agency. In order to get cop Al Wheeler (Billy Dee Williams) off his back and to please his mob boss employers, Matt attempts to hunt down the killer himself. Meanwhile, Matt's ex-girlfriend, Loretta (Melanie Griffith), whose lesbian lover was recently murdered, deals with her renewed drug addiction.
