In this well-acted, two-part Showtime movie directed by David Attwood and written by Stephen Tolkin, the rise of leader Fidel Castro in Cuba is chronicled, focusing largely on Castro's relationship with revolutionary Che Guevara. Victor Huggo Martin stars as Castro, and Gael Garcia Bernal plays Guevara. Cecilia Suarez gives a notable performance as Celia Sanchez, one of Castro's many sexual conquests.
