Internationally acclaimed filmmaker Takeshi Kitano writes, directs and stars in this gritty cop drama, centered on a despairing police officer struggling to maintain his sanity in the wake of a series of harrowing tragedies. With his wife dying of cancer and his partner suffering a life-altering injury incurred while on duty, Nishi (Kitano) decides to quit the police force and take to the streets in search of his own brand of justice.
