A young man (Omar Epps) charged with drug possession is given a choice of five years in prison or several months at boot camp. He opts for the latter, and the discipline yields some surprising results. The real challenge comes, however, in choosing the life he wants to lead when he returns home. Based on a true story, this gritty made-for-TV drama marks the directorial debut of actor Charles Dutton.
