A group of expert fighters must band together when southern China's officer elite begin smuggling opium and endangering the lives of the local villagers in this kung fu actioner directed by Yuen Woo Ping (fight choreographer for The Matrix). The high-flying Donnie Yen is in fine acrobatic fettle as the leader of the fighters who squares off against the leaders of China in an attempt to restore peace to the common people.
