John Woo makes his directorial debut with this martial arts film that imagines a decisive battle between Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, two martial arts legends who, by fate, never had the opportunity to test one another's skills. Released in 1973, Woo's film uses contemporary technological advances to stage a realistic confrontation in a bout coined "the Match of the Millennium,"which compares the unique styles of both masters.
