Life has always been footloose and fancy-free for 16-year-old Hanabishi Recca, a teenager who's unaware that he's descended from a ninja clan that ruled the land during feudal times. This explains his fascination with ninjas and why he can't seem to learn enough about them. One day, he discovers his calling when he saves the life of a classmate, and soon he's doing battle with enemies who have invaded from the past. A thrilling anime series.
