Flipper

Sandy (Luke Halpin), the son of a Florida fisherman (Chuck Connors, of TV's "Rifleman" fame), rescues and nurses an injured dolphin, whom he calls Flipper, and in due course, forges a deep bond with the friendly animal. But the boy is crestfallen when, after Flipper regains his health, he must return the dolphin to the ocean. This charming family film is based on the hit television show of the early 1960s.
