Next-door neighbors Hank Bolen (Kevin Dobson) and Peter Stillwell (Michael Tucker) couldn't be more dissimilar when it comes to religion, lifestyle and personality, but a strong friendship blossoms despite their differences. After an unexpected tragedy shakes Peter's sense of justice and his belief in God, he blames his family's misfortune on Hank's choices -- and Peter's anger builds a wall between them.
