Margaret Gibson (Meredith Baxter) is a gifted writer, able to weave stories full of verve. But in real life, Margaret -- hobbled by mental illness -- struggles with her day-to-day existence. So it's no surprise when her husband (Nick Mancuso) leaves her and threatens to cut off her access to their son, Aaron (Keegan MacIntosh). But what is unexpected is Margaret's fierce determination to overcome her problems, all for the love of her boy.
