Following five of Dolly Parton's most avid devotees, filmmaker Tai Uhlmann explores the qualities of the country artist that draw such loyalty and the extreme measures the fans take to get close to their idol. Gay couple Patric and Harrell embrace Parton's message of self-acceptance, visits to Dollywood act as therapy for mentally challenged David, and Melisa and Jeanette discuss how their devotion to the singer has changed their lives.
