Francis the Talking Mule / Francis Goes to the Races

In Francis the Talking Mule, the loquacious pack animal turns World War II Army grunt Peter Stirling (Donald O'Connor) into an unlikely -- and seemingly lunatic -- hero, while in Francis Goes to the Races, Francis helps Peter pick winning ponies at the track. Arthur Lubin directs both films in this family-friendly double feature. Ray Collins, Patricia Medina, Zasu Pitts, Piper Laurie, Cecil Kellaway and Jesse White co-star.
